Neocaridina Shrimp are beautiful little shrimp ranging in color and patterns. They are the great choice for any planted tank and any substrate! They don't require much care as they feed on biofilm, uneaten fish food and rotting plant matter. We recommend only feeding shrimp food every 2-3 days. They don't require special water conditions as seen on A LOT of YouTube videos. We keep them in water ranging from pure RO, to 1 year old tanks with zero water changes. Just drip acclimate them to your tank and you'll have no issues adding Neocaridina shrimp to your aquarium.
Colors offered:
Red: A mix of reds ranging from light red to deep solid red known as "Bloody Mary Shrimp". We just scoop out what we catch and give you the pleasure of selectively breeding them if you want. We are sure you'll love the quality as we have a good strain.
Orange: These little shrimp are mostly Golden Back Orange Shrimp. Some are very dark orange with a pronounced golden stripe (similar to a "bee shrimp") while others are a pure orange with little golden back. Again, we just scoop out what we catch and give you the pleasure of selectively breeding them.
Blue: Man do we love these blue shrimp. Some are real dark like a "Blue Velvet" strain, while others are a pleasant light blue. Can you guess what I am going to say next? Yup, we just scoop out what we catch and give you the pleasure of selectively breeding them if you want.
Skittles: Ranging from wild types (like brown, gray and black) to all the color types above. The fun is you never know what we are going to send you but we promise to make it a good mix. The fun here is seeing what colors breed in your tank!
